On 12 June 2026, Dejan Galovski, Project Manager of ATLANTIS ESC, represented the organisation in Tirana, Albania, at the event “20 Years of the Adriatic-Ionian Euroregion – Vision for the Future of the AIE Regions”, held at Rogner Hotel Tirana. During the Gear-UP! event, he presented the results of the ACT GREEN – Youth in Action for Sustainable Futures project as part of the session dedicated to youth engagement, global citizenship education, and the Sustainable Development Goals.

In his presentation, Dejan Galovski shared the main achievements of the project, including the involvement of young people in sustainability education, youth-led awareness activities, and local actions promoting environmental responsibility and active citizenship. The event brought together representatives of civil society organisations, institutions, and project partners from several IPA countries, creating space for exchange of experiences and new perspectives on Global Citizenship Education in the region.

ATLANTIS ESC was proud to contribute to this important regional discussion and to present ACT GREEN as an example of how local youth initiatives can support broader sustainable development goals. Participation in this event also strengthened the visibility of the project and opened opportunities for future cooperation and networking with organisations across the Adriatic-Ionian region.
