My name is Matea Ristoska, and I was truly pleased to be part of the Youth Eco Academy organized by Atlantis ESC. It was a wonderful experience for me, as I had the opportunity to meet new people and learn about sustainable habits that I can incorporate into my daily life. I also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of young people being active in their communities and how teamwork can make it possible to achieve anything. What I appreciated the most was the positive atmosphere and the well-organized activities prepared for us. My message to other young people is to say “yes” more often to new opportunities, travel, projects, and experiences, because that is exactly how we grow, learn, and create the most beautiful memories. For me, SDG Climate Action is one of the most important goals, because caring for the environment and addressing climate change is becoming an increasingly serious issue that puts the future of our planet at risk.
